On February 17th, NAAAP Houston had our first professional development seminar of 2010. The turnout was sizeable with good showing from16 people attending the event. Attendees seemed to have great interest in the event since every 10 minutes, people were asking Kyanna, our presenter, questions about specific items and topics pertaining to her talk. During the event in this short time period, Kyanna explored the possibilities of what was new within the tax realm, helped some of our members even, and found more ways to annihilate/decrease their taxes. She helped to find extra monies and the most commonly missed deductions for our members as well.

The event spent about an hour and a half talking about changes within the tax code and what people could do now in light of the changes in anticipation for the next tax year. This was a spectacular event with wine and cheese served. I look forward to bringing someone with her caliber back in the following months as an added benefit to our members.
