The National Association of Asian American Professionals is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2008 NAAAP Houston Scholarship Awards. They are:

• Julyann Tu (DeBakey High School) – Texas A&M
• Luyang Jin (DeBakey High School) – Wellesly College
• Sydney Pham (Cinco Ranch High School) – UT Austin

NAAAP-Houston would like to thank all of this year's applicants for participating in our scholarship program.

This year, NAAAP Houston had over 50 extremely qualified applicants apply for the 3 scholarship awards. All finalists selected for second round interviews were in the top of their respective schools. Each one possessed outstanding academic credentials along with extraordinary extra-curricular activities.
